Roger Peden's bio
A results oriented Human Resources and Social Services professional with over 15 years of experience in government, health care, corporate and nonprofit. I specialize in being the "bridge maker" among several parties. During my career, I've been a mediator, counselor, facilitator, project manager, investigator and human resources professional to ensure that resolutions and forward plans are made for all interested parties. My past experience, along with my education helped me to be the bridge for many people. I have a Bachelors in Psychology from Western Illinois University and a Masters from the Adler School of Professional Psychology.
My passion is to help low income, young adults take control of their lives. For over 15 years, I've helped motivated young people develop and implement plans to complete high school, college and begin careers. I have the huge benefit of seeing societal challenges from two distinct lenses. First, from the affected parties. I understand peoples' mindsets, individual passions as well as their challenges. I also understand the business-driven needs of corporations in a variety of different industries. My goal is to make great matches for both parties.
As a result, I was named as one of Chicago Defender Newspaper's "2008 Men of Excellence".
